Brigitte Hirschmann has been a member of Kliemt & Vollstädt's employment-law team in Düsseldorf since October 2011. She chose employment law as a main focus of her law studies at Osnabrück university, and she continued this specialisation by spending one stage of her traineeship at Osnabrück Labour Court. From May 2009 until September 2011 she first worked as a research assistant and later as an academic researcher at the chair of civil law, employment law, commercial and corporate law under Professor Dr. Markus Stoffels at Osnabrück University. She is writing her doctoral thesis under Professor Dr. Markus Stoffels on an employment-law topic.

Ms. Hirschmann advises companies and executive staff on all questions of individual and collective employment law, both in court and out of court. Her main practice areas are litigation on unfair dismissal and the solution of works council questions.
