Dr. Elke Platzhoff, an attorney and graduate in business administration, has been part of Kliemt und Vollstädt's employment-law team since May 2007. She previously practised in a medium-sized law firm in Cologne and worked as a trainer for employment law and civil law on law examination cramming courses at a leading coaching institute. Since 1999 she has been a part-time lecturer on employment law and business law in the economics department of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences.

Dr. Platzhoff wrote her doctoral dissertation under Prof. Dr. Gramlich of Chemnitz Technical University on the subject "Supply of Temporary Employees and Legitimacy". Before taking up her law studies, she was a student on a course for German and French international business studies in Cergy-Pontoise (France) and in Dortmund. On graduation she was awarded a double degree in French and German business administration (Doppel-Diplom-Betriebswirtin FH (deutsch/französisch)).
