Sabine Schwarz, a Certified Employment Law Specialist, has been a member of Kliemt & Vollstädt's
employment law team in Düsseldorf since March 2011. Previously, she practised as an attorney for
several years in the employment law departments of two well-known law firms: first, from the year 2004
on, at CBH Rechtsanwälte in Cologne, and following this at Beiten Burkhardt in Munich, where she was
made a salaried partner. Sabine Schwarz studied at Saarland University and at Cologne University.
While she was still a trainee, she laid the foundations of her main practice area in employment law.
Ms. Schwarz advises companies and executive staff on all aspects of individual and collective
employment law. She represents the interests of her clients both in court and out of court. Her
particular area of specialisation is employment law consultancy for companies in connection with
reorganisations, including transferring employees to training and interim employment companies.
In this connection, she advises on all related questions of works council and collective bargaining
law (including in particular strategies for pay scale changes) and conducts the necessary negotiations
with works councils on the settlement of conflicting interests and the social plan. In addition,
Ms. Schwarz has particular expertise on matters including the introduction and structure of
remuneration systems for executive staff (e.g. bonus plans).
