Dr. Ulrich, partner, moved from Schlütter Debatin & Bornheim, Cologne, to Kliemt & Vollstädt in November 2006. Dr. Ulrich's career as an attorney began in Frankfurt in 1998 at the law firm Nörr Stiefenhofer. Later, he moved to the Rhineland, where he first spent several years working in the employment law department of Clifford Chance in Düsseldorf. Then, at the beginning of the year 2003, he became a partner in the international law firm Taylor Wessing. Before he worked as an attorney, Dr. Ulrich was employed for many years as an academic assistant in the departments of two well-known German employment law professors, Prof. Dr. Dres. h.c. Peter Hanau and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Preis, at the University of Cologne.

Dr. Ulrich advises German and international companies on all questions of employment law, both in court and out of court. His practice areas include drafting agreements with works councils, employment agreements and termination agreements and advising managing directors and boards on the termination of their service agreements. In addition, Dr. Ulrich has particular expertise in cross-border employment law consultancy for international companies and private equity companies in English and Spanish, above all in connection with restructuring, relocating, corporate acquisition, due diligence and international assignment. Dr. Ulrich, whose clients include several well-known hospitals, heads the practice group „Employment law in hospitals“.
